about
Mohit Rao is a Mumbai based electronic producer, live instrumentalist and composer, whose latest release is a collaboration with Ranchi based rapper and producer Tre Ess aka Sumit Singh Solanki. The origins of the track began with the synth-based harmonic progression being developed which melded with the bass-heavy drums creating the instrumental version that Mohit released garnering a positive response from the audience. It was at this stage that, Tre Ess heard the track and the collaborative process began. With Tre Ess' smooth delivery and intricate rhyme scheme, combined with the unconventional groove and almost 8-bit electronic instrumentation of Mohit's production, the track is their artists interpretation of the future hip hop sound.
lyrics
Love you in the purest way but sometimes
You'll have me on my ABJ, (haye Raam)
Sounds from computers where the Buddhists and nudists
All sit back relax and bump that new Cudi
Murder she wrote before I ever spoke
Deeper I get, louder she hitting notes
Goes by different names in different area codes
Be aware in the approach, she's known for seeking the soul
Ain't no teleportation doors, hard work don't pay up
But dude go ahead, cash in your favors.
Everybody got a crush from their home studio
But she ain't too kind, unless you got the plug like the pope.
Got the heart at the door? ain't enough.
Stunt with the cool kids tho? That should do.
But sometimes she's just way too wild
She fucked over Naezy, I feel bad for my guy.
Selfish and careless and always above
It's been years, even Gravity tryna catch up.
Some call her hip hop, some call her rock
People looking at me crazy, I fell in love with the sounds.
Selfish and careless, older than any wine
I hear she only blesses the people she finds Divine.
Some call her gully, bougie people keep her posh
Could've given up to depression, but I stayed for the sounds.
God bless
(Love you in the purest way)
